I am a literary translator as well as writer and educator with a passion for language, languages, history, philosophy, and literature. As a translator, I am especially interested in twentieth-century Spanish literary history, the Generation of ’98, and figures such as Miguel de Unamuno and Pío Baroja.
Certified as a translator from Spanish to English by the American Translators Association, I also hold the Diploma in Translation in the same language pair from the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the United Kingdom and have a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in translation, and experience in the areas of publishing, teaching, and academia.
